Magic Booster Draft

There is room for 8 people, pay me $20 and you get entry. A booster box costs $160 from the store, for 36 boosters. For this you get 3 boosters no matter where you come in the draft.

It's possible that I can get a booster box cheaper, if I can the cost to you will go down.

When: January 29th 12pm.
Where: My place.

Prize:

• We aim to get 8 people exactly, if we do, we will need (8x3) 24 boosters. There are 36 boosters in a box, that leaves 12 boosters left over. The winner gets 6 of them, 2nd place gets 4, 3rd place gets 2.
• You Keep ALL the cards you draft. This could mean you open a pack and see a nice rare that you've always wanted, take that without consideration for your draft deck. You can do that!

How it works:

• We sit around a table with three unopened booster packs in front of us.
• We open one pack, take one card and pass the rest to our left.
• We do that until we have no cards left, at this stage you have 15 cards.
• We open the second pack, this time passing to the right.
• We open the third pack, passing to our left again.
• We now have 45 cards.
• We have 20 minutes to make a deck of no less than 40 cards, any amount of basic land can be added, please bring some to share around.
• We have 8 people which go into a knock-out round best of three until there is a single winner. Points will be given for round results to break ties in the top four.
