Atlassian's World of Warcraft Group

An Atlassian WoW group runs every week for the Australian-based players (apologies to the interested but timezone-challenged US players)!

How it works

• Let me re-emphasis that this is a social group — the main thing is to keep this casual and fun!
• Everyone starts a level 1 character on a new server.
• We will need to level up to at least level 18 to try the first Alliance instance (Deadmines). We don't have to group for this, so feel free to solo your way to 20.
• We progress through the different instances as we level. Here's a good guide to the low level instances and another one. I'm guessing we may get sick of a certain instance after the 10th run , so there may be some questing required between instances to level up.
• We all need to stay within 3 levels of each other once we start doing instances. Please keep the players page updated if you go soloing. We need to stay reasonably close in terms of level, otherwise people will struggle in instances. Everyone is free to play other characters if you want to do your own powerlevelling, but reserve a character for our group.
• We are aiming to have at least 5 people, which is the standard for instances (which we now have!).
• We will need at least one tank and at least one healer. Other people can be any sort of damage dealing class.
• Everyone should get a headset, as it makes communication during game play much much much easier. Typing is so "last year". We should try the internal voice chat (never used it), if thats no good I have a server I can install vent on.

When/Where are we playing?

When? (now on) Monday nights, from 9:00pm to late. Try to get on early to get to the instance, or logoff the day before at the instance start. Feel free to solo at other times.
Where? Server is Nagrand (Oceanic PvE). Faction is Alliance. Feel free to pick any race.
