Unfortunately maven was held up, but happily for us we had a Swoon come join us!
Halfway through our attempts, we swapped Rawm->Hordesmasher, Riki->Thatrayna and Riki switched to DPS

Halfus Wyrmbreaker Strats

The drakes for Halfus this week (i.e. week 2) should be:

• Nether Scion – Pre-fight, applies a frenzy buff to Halfus Wyrmbreaker (+100% attack speed). When freed, reduces his attack speed, hit chance and damage done.
• Storm Rider – Gives Wyrmbreaker a Shadow Nova ability which deals AoE damage and knocks people back. When freed, reduces his cast speed, so it becomes possible to interrupt.
• Whelps – Give Proto-Behemoth Scorching Breath ability. When freed, lower the damage it does.

From the wowpedia page, I think the order in which we should release the drakes are:

• Release Storm Rider first – "The Storm Rider should always be released if active. The Shadow Nova will then become interruptable as its cast time rises from 0.25 seconds to 1.5 seconds."
• Release Nether Scion next – I'm not too sure about whether to release nether scion or whelps next. I'm guessing nether scion. Think it might be easier if we don't have to deal with Halfus' mortal strike ability.
• Release Whelps last.

Raid Summary

Well we wiped a lot, but we made a lot of progress too. Best attempt was when we got the second drake down to under 50%. The trash mobs before Halfus were easy.
