Now that we are getting close to an attempt on the Lich King, people have come out of the wood work to join the team. This has left the team overflowing. This is both good and bad.

The Monday lock has these bosses still to go:

  • Rotface
  • Professor Putricide
  • Sindragosa
  • The Lich King

I suspect it will take:

  • Rotface/Putricide - 1 raid night
  • Sindragosa - 2 raid nights
  • The Lich King - 2+ raid nights

We are coming up against some of the hardest bosses in the game and we need some team continuity.

I'm sorry if you wanted a spot in the raid but only got a reserve spot, this team is based on the past availability of each player. Everyone wants to play, and unfortunately we don't all fit.

  • Thursday raids will continue as usual, but if you want to be a reserve for Monday, don't go and get locked on the Thursday. I know this is a big ask as it means you cannot raid ICC10 at all because you will end up getting locked.
  • There will be spots available but they will be selected on the night depending who is there.
  • If you are in the team above and don't want to commit to the next 5-6 weeks of raiding, let me know and you can become a reserve.

    To say not happy is huge f%$@&%! understatement! Normally would send long email to Furgin at this stage but no point as least week was promised slot after being missed 2/3 recent Mondays. Only time been able to come on a Monday is as DPS and that is not my preferred role.

    The Thursday raid is dead and no doubt if you get closer to LK will get hijacked for more attempts when people will suddenly become available.

      I don't really know what to say I guess I can just explain how I came to this team.

      • When you joined the guild you were given a slot on the Thursday night and a rotating slot on the Monday.
      • And to try and fit in with yours (and others) preferences we we created a more official second team on the Thursday.
      • Your account got compromised and you suggested you might not return to WoW at all. You were away from raiding for three weeks and we no longer had enough numbers for the Thursday night, so we moved it back to Monday.
      • I have been trying to get you in on the Monday nights, but its full, and has been full since long before you joined the guild. You were promised a rotating slot, which you have done. We've decided to freeze the team for a few weeks like we have done in the past.

      I'm sorry your expectations haven't been met.

        While I hate missing raids I am prepared to rotate out every so often to accomodate others. Let me know in advance though and I will attend the Thursday raid the week before (assuming it happens).
