2. Results
Cleared (A few wipes)
- We ran the new 3.2 instance, Trial of the Champion again on Monday with Boo, then the 80s did Violet Hold (H) and Culling of Stratholme (H).
- Trial of the Champion got Boo some decent xp (5%) but even nicer loot
- We smashed H VH despite having undergeared hunter. We sneakily disbanded and reformed so that we wouldn't have to invite him to the next heroic
- Trial of the Champion (H) caused us quite a few problems, particularly the first bosses. We were pretty confused as we'd cleared this quite a few times without problem (Furgs, do you still have your lance equipped? ) In the end, we figured out that it was one of the pug hunters who was stuffing up the initial pull (wtb uber hunter!! lf1moonburn). It probably also didn't help that the other hunter didn't really know how to play ("what is misdirect?"). The aggro-pulling hunter quit before we kicked him (he wasn't nice anyway), we picked up a nice pug pally and all was good.
- On the night of bad pugs, we picked up a rogue for H CoS. When we saw him rock up in a chopper (costs about 15k gold) we were thinking that we'd gotten an uber dps. Unfortunately, not so. I think he topped out at around 1k dps. Furgin was doing more dps than him. Ah well, at least he wasn't rude. We still managed to make the timed boss, due to some nice teamwork and the pug pally helping tank the gauntlet. went to... the rogue! lol! Fortunately everyone else had it.
