CLEAR (no wipes)
Awesome run. We smashed this dungeon (once we got everyone there... warlock summons ftw!). Took less than 1.5 hours.

Some nice drops to, including:

There were more drops, but I can't remember. Feel free to comment, if you do.

3. Notes

  • After our shocker of ZG run, a few late-nighters stuck around to run a 5-man. Unfortunately Ed didn't have 'The Burning Crusade' expansion (note to Ed: go buy 'The Burning Crusade' expansion! (wink) ), so we couldn't run Hellfire Ramparts. We ended up heading to Scholomance (in the Western Plaguelands) instead.
  • Really enjoyed the run. Always wanted to see Scholo and now I have the achievement to prove it!
  • Ed nearly upgraded his entire set of gear (big grin)
  • Kudos again to Zunoz for his encyclopaedic knowledge of Scholo.

Weird... the preview mode of the wow-items macro is not working. You can click through to see the item.

Very, very profitable run! (wink) I also levelled to 60 shortly afterward! (smile) Although my experience bar then disappeared (sad) . Time to pick up the expansion!

Grats on 60! Yes, definitely pick up the expansion so any future xp gains don't go to waste. Should be dirt cheap now.

You might be able to do it via Digital Download, or just grab a 15% voucher from www.ebgames.com.au. While you're there, get Wrath too!

Oh, and the 60-day game cards are now well priced given the exchange rate. US$15 = AU$22, so a 60-day card is worthwhile for $40 or under.

I've now got Burning Crusade. $39.95.

I might try and wait for Raft of the Leech King to come down in price a bit.

You only really need to buy WotLK, if you want to:

            • Play a death knight (actually this is a pretty good reason to buy it... the death knight starting quest are really fun).
            • Go to Northrend. You need to be 68 before you can go there anyway I think.

Pretty much everything else is available in normal WoW + TBC.
